Press information for the 2013 pilgrimage

new! The 2013 NorthernCross Easter Pilgrimage has now finished. It took place between March 22 - 31 2013. Around 80 people in 5 different Legs (groups) successfully walked towards Holy Island / Lindisfarne to celebrate Easter there with the island community over 29-31 March, and were walking between 22-29 March. Each group had different routes and walking experiences - and this year - experienced some very unusually cold weather & snow! As well as those covering 10-16 miles per day, there was also a group tailored to families with children, doing shorter walks; as well as an long distance extreme walking, unsupported camping route. The 2013 pilgrimage was co-ordinated by Margaret Williams. Want to come next year? Click here to book.
