Dates of the Northern Cross Pilgrimage - now and in future years Northern Cross begins each year when pilgrims gather on the Friday evening before Palm Sunday, in various locations, and finishes on Holy Island (Lindisfarne), Northumberland, on Easter Sunday. It began in 1976 and has come together to celebrate Easter every year since.
We hope this will enable you to plan taking part in Northern Cross, even if you cannot join us this year. It is a unique experience, and a week of fellowship which is tremendously enriching as all present share in a common journey of pilgrimage together.
